D. Michael Overfield, M.D. received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Overfield went on to complete his residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center In Loma Linda, California. Following residency, he completed his fellowship in Neonatology at UCDAVIS Medical Center in Sacramento, CA.
Dr. Overfield is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and its sub-board of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. He has been practicing in the Rio Grande Valley for 10 years.
Dr. Overfield has served as the Chief of Pediatrics and has also devoted his time to medical staff committee membership including the Utilization Review Committee.
