Pablo R. Rivera, M.D. was born in Douglas, Arizona and spent most of his childhood in Agua Prieta, Sonora – a small Mexican town that borders Arizona. He attended high school at Academia Juarez in Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. He then went on to complete medical school, graduating with his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez. After completing his medical internship and social service requirements in Mexico, he took the required board examinations to enter the medical training system in the United States. He first spent time training in Family Medicine in Las Cruces, New Mexico, before transferring to the University of Oklahoma where he completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Rivera served as Administrative Chief Resident during his final year of training there.

Following residency, Dr. Rivera went on to complete an American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery fellowship in General Cosmetic Surgery at the Arizona Centre of Plastic Surgery in Tucson, Arizona.

Dr. Rivera is a member of the Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, American Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the International Society of Cosmetic Gynecology.
