Minor Care
Knapp Medical Center’s Minor Care is open 7 days a week from noon to midnight to treat non-emergency conditions. Patients are in and out in about an hour. For Minor Care, check in at the Emergency Department.
It’s important to know when to go to the Emergency Department and when to you can rely on Minor Care services.
Minor Care conditions:
- Minor injuries
- Minor cuts or scrapes
- Eye redness or irritation
- Urinary tract infections
- Upper respiratory tract infections
- Fever or flu
- Sore throat
- Skin rashes or infections
- Sprains and strains
Emergency Room conditions:
- Broken bones
- Deep cuts
- Bleeding that won’t stop
- Knife or gunshot wounds
- Problems related to pregnancy
- Coughing or vomiting blood
- Chest pain
- Suspected stroke or heart attack
- Difficulty breathing
- Severe burns
- Loss of consciousness
- Seizures
- Abdominal pain
