Gastroenterology

Knapp Medical Center is one of the few hospitals in the Rio Grande Valley that can perform endoscopic ultrasound (EUS).

In addition, we offer infusion therapy and injections Monday thorugh Friday between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. We offer antibiotic therapy and Lovenox injection (one dose daily).

• Inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology procedures
• Inpatient and outpatient bronchoscopy procedures
• Outpatient infusion (fasting less than four hours)
• Injections
• Outpatient sedation
• Cardioversions
• TEEs

Referring Process:

• Physician order required
• Schedule appointment through Outpatient Resource Scheduling
• Register through Outpatient Registration

Hours of Operation:

Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
