EBUS

Knapp Medical Center is pleased to announce the availability of endobronchial ultrasonography or EBUS. With this new technology, Knapp pulmonologists can more accurately diagnose and stage lung cancer.The minimally invasive outpatient procedure reduces the potential for complications and reduces the need for painful and unnecessary surgeries. This state-of-the art equipment allows pulmonologists to better evaluate the lungs with video and ultrasound guided technology to collect biopsies and deliver accurate diagnoses for therapeutic and diagnostic evaluation of the lungs. Patients are encouraged to talk to their doctor about how they may benefit from this new diagnostic approach.
