Rene Lopez
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Lopez started his tenure with Knapp Medical Center in April 2016, bringing
more than 30 years of experience in healthcare to this leadership position.
Most recently, Mr. Lopez served as CEO of Doctors Hospital in Laredo,
Texas. Under his leadership, the hospital received numerous awards and
accolades, in addition to the creation of a successful heart program and
establishing a freestanding emergency department, among other accomplishments
in revenue enhancement and quality outcomes. The hospital was also recognized
as a top performer for patient satisfaction within the Universal Health
Services (UHS) system.
Prior to Doctors Hospital, Mr. Lopez served as CEO of Fort Duncan Regional
Medical Center in Eagle Pass and Providence Hospital in Laredo, both member
hospitals of UHS. Mr. Lopez received his medical degree from Universidad
Autonoma de Tamaulipas, Mexico and he is a Fellow in the prestigious American
College of Healthcare Executives.
Mr. Lopez and his wife have two daughters.

David Glassburn
Regional Chief Financial Officer
David Glassburn is the Chief Financial Officer at Knapp Medical Center.
Mr. Glassburn joined Knapp Medical Center as the Chief Financial Officer
after offering consulting services to healthcare clients in acute and
psychiatric hospitals in Kingwood, Texas. His consulting services have
included operational reviews, business planning, pro-forma development
& financial modeling, revenue projects and CFO assessments/mentoring.
Prior to his interim CFO & consulting career, Mr. Glassburn held several
CFO positions in small to medium-sized hospitals in Texas and New Mexico.
His first CFO position was in 1983 in Eagle Pass, working for Hospital
Corporation of America (HCA).
Mr. Glassburn is an Advanced Member of the Healthcare Financial Management
Association. He earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor
of Science in Accounting.

Anna Hinojosa
Chief Nursing Officer
Anna Hinojosa serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at Knapp Medical Center.
With nearly 30 years of nursing experience, Ms. Hinojosa uses her knowledge
and experience to promote the delivery of exceptional healthcare at Knapp
Medical Center.
Ms. Hinojosa received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the
University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and her Master
of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Brownsville. She
began her nursing career in 1987 as a SICU Staff/Charge Nurse at Southwest
Texas Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, and has been involved in healthcare
in the Rio Grande Valley in a variety of roles for nearly 25 years, from
serving as a flight nurse to home health care. Ms. Hinojosa has been at
Knapp Medical Center since 2006, when she started as the Emergency Department
Director, and assumed the role of Chief Nursing Officer in 2014.
As Chief Nursing Officer, Ms. Hinojosa oversees more than 650 nursing staff
at Knapp Medical Center.

Dr. Daniel Farray
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Daniel Farray serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Knapp Medical
Center. Dr. Farray completed his medical school education at the Universidad
Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He
completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation
in Cleveland, Ohio and went on to complete a fellowship in oncology/hematology
at the Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.
Dr. Farray has been a member of the Knapp Medical Center Medical Staff
since 2006 and has served in multiple leadership positions. In addition
to his responsibilities as Chief Medical Officer, he serves on a wide
array of Medical Staff committees, including the Ethics Committee, the
Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee, and the Utilization Review Committee.
Dr. Farray is currently serving as Medical Director for the Knapp Hospice
Program and has also been appointed as a member of the Knapp Governing Board.
